Flavor Notes: Cocoa, cedar, black pepper, cream, syrup, baker’s spice, bread crust, dark chocolate, vanilla Pairing Notes: Aged rum, espresso, spiced chai tea, dark chocolate, or spiced carrot cake Manufacturer: Guillermo Peña Factory (Estelí, Nicaragua) Privada Storytelling The Hamsa The Hand continues the mystical lineage begun with the Evil Eye, completing a pairing of wisdom and protection. Where the Evil Eye warned and foresaw, the Hamsa wards off negative forces, carrying centuries of symbolism in its palm-shaped imagery. Both releases share Guillermo Peña’s striking artwork and blending artistry, uniting ancient tradition with modern craftsmanship. Wrapped in a rare American Connecticut Broadleaf, the Hamsa is a cigar of strength, richness, and balance — a leaf prized for its bold flavor yet seldom accessible at this level of value. Aged for one year and produced at Peña’s Estelí factory, it reflects the vibrancy of Nicaragua’s “new Havana” while offering a smoking experience that feels timeless and protective. Flavor Journey Opening Act: Cocoa, cedar, and black pepper open with rustic charm. Cream, sweet syrup, baker’s spice, and bread crust follow, finishing with notes of sweet breads and sugar cream dusted in white pepper. Mid-Session Revelations: Simple syrup, cocoa, cream, and white pepper are joined by rich dark chocolate and warm baking spices, deepening the body of the smoke. The Grand Finale: Cocoa returns alongside cedar, baking spice, vanilla extract, and bread notes. White pepper and white sugar give the closing a sweet, lingering finish. Why It Belongs in Privada The Hamsa represents exactly what Privada stands for: history, artistry, and exclusivity. With its symbolic roots, rare wrapper, and careful craftsmanship, it is both a meaningful collectible and a flavorful smoke. This release proves again that Privada is about more than cigars — it’s about stories, symbols, and the connections they create.

Damn good blend here. Hint of sweetness from the Broadleaf wrapper. Nice dark coffee with a rush of black pepper on the retrohale. Definitely box worthy.

This is an excellent cigar with deep flavors and enough strength to keep you going with no harshness. Just a smooth smoke that has some changes from start to finish
