When I first began working with a factory in Brazil, the connection wasn’t immediate. But when they introduced me to a small factory in Paraguay, things changed. There was something unique in what they were doing—especially with a rare tobacco called Flojo , a long-filler viso they claim has roots in Africa. This cigar represents an international dance of cultures and tobaccos: Paraguayan Flojo shipped to the Dominican Republic, where it is married with Dominican staples like San Vicente and Piloto Cubano.
